Bangladesh's river fish catch rose to 4.04 lakh tonnes in FY25, up 0.88% from 4.00 lakh tonnes the year before, with hilsha making up the largest share. The Meghna yielded the highest hilsha haul at 1.93 lakh tonnes, while the Brahmaputra recorded the lowest at just 43 tonnes.
