National University stands in solidarity with Palestine in silent protest
In protest against the ongoing genocide and severe human rights violations by the Israeli occupying forces against the freedom-seeking Palestinian people in Gaza, a black badge wearing and peaceful silent protest was held at the Gazipur campus of National University on April 8, 2025.
The event took place in front of the academic building, with the participation of teachers, officers, and staff from all levels of the university.
The program was led by the Vice-Chancellor of National University, Professor Dr. A. S. M. Amanullah. Alongside the Vice-Chancellor, the event was attended by the University's Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Lutfor Rahman, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Treasurer Professor Dr. A.T.M. Zafarul Azam, Acting Deans of various faculties, the Registrar, Controller of Examinations, and other departmental heads from various university offices.
