MTB foundation marks disability day with assistive device distribution
To commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2025, MTB Foundation, in partnership with the Centre for Disability in Development (CDD), recently celebrated this year's theme "Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress".
The event was held at the CDD premises in Savar in the presence of Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer; Golam Rabbani and Nazmus Sakib, Associates of MTB Foundation. A H M Noman Khan, Executive Advisor, and Moinul Islam, Senior Coordinator, CDD, also attended.
The programme's highlight was the distribution of assistive devices to persons with disabilities, funded by MTB Foundation. The event concluded with an awareness session on the challenges faced by persons with disabilities, aimed at promoting inclusion and accessibility in society.
