Modhumoti Bank holds 12th annual general meeting
Modhumoti Bank PLC. held its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, 14 July 2025, at the Sheraton Dhaka, with the support of Zoom technology.
The meeting was presided over by Mr Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Also present were Mr Salahuddin Alamgir, Chairman of the Executive Committee; Mr Mostafa Kamal, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee; other directors; sponsor shareholders; Mr Md Shafiul Azam, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank; and senior officials.
The AGM approved the audited financial statements and Directors' Report for the year 2024. A 15% cash dividend for shareholders was also approved. Members of the Board shared their perspectives on the bank's future strategy, expansion of services, and initiatives to enhance customer service. The meeting concluded with the presentation of the bank's strategic plans and directives for the coming year.
