Salahuddin Alamgir elected Modhumoti Bank chairman
Salahuddin Alamgir has been unanimously elected chairman of Modhumoti Bank PLC.
According to a press release, the election was held on Tuesday, 28 July, during the board's 98th meeting at the bank's head office in Gulshan, Dhaka.
The board also elected Mohammad Ismail Hossain as vice-chairman, Mostafa Kamal as chairman of the Executive Committee and A Mannan Khan as chairman of the Risk Management Committee.

Board members congratulated the newly elected leaders and greeted them with flowers.
Directors Humayun Kabir, Nemai Kumar Saha, Tanjima Binthe Mostafa, Sultana Jahan, Tanveer Ahmed Mostafa and Md Mahbubur Rahman attended the meeting.
Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, independent director, and Md Shafiul Azam, managing director and CEO of Modhumoti Bank PLC, were also present.
