Modhumoti Bank reappoints Md Shafiul Azam as MD and CEO
Md Shafiul Azam has been reappointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Modhumoti Bank PLC for a three-year term.
Azam joined Modhumoti Bank in 2014 as Additional Managing Director and assumed the role of MD & CEO in 2016.
A post-graduate in marketing from the University of Dhaka, he began his banking career in 1991 as a probationary officer at AB Bank. Over his 34-year career, he has served in senior leadership positions, including Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank.
