Modhumoti Bank deposits reach Tk12,000 crore
Modhumoti Bank PLC marked a milestone on Sunday, 27 September, 2026, as deposits reached Tk12,000 crore at an informal ceremony at its head office.
During the programme, the bank highlighted its consistent growth in deposit mobilisation, strong customer confidence and commitment to banking operations guided by good governance, according to the press release.
Modhumoti Bank Board Chairman Salahuddin Alamgir, Vice Chairman Mohammad Ismail Hossain and Risk Management Committee Chairman A Mannan Khan attended the ceremony.

Board members Sultana Jahan, Tanjima Binthe Mostafa, Md Mahbubur Rahman, Tanveer Ahmed Mostafa, and Syeda Sharmin Hossain were also present, along with Independent Directors Md Shafiqul Alam and Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul.
Managing Director Md Shafiul Azam also attended, along with Additional Managing Director Shahnawaz Chowdhury; Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer Arab Fazlur Rahman; and Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer Arif Hasan Khan.
Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources Division Md Shafiqur Rahman, Vice President and Company Secretary Md Rezaul Karim, and other senior bank officials were also present.
