The Convocation was presided over by Her Excellency Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Honourable Adviser to the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, and the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. In her presidential address, she commended IUBAT's contributions to research, global rankings, and sustainable education programs, particularly its Knowledge-Based Area Development (KBAD) initiatives. She urged the graduates to uphold the values of their degrees and emphasised the importance of sustainability, highlighting her ministry's achievements in environmental protection during her tenure. She also encouraged higher education institutions to integrate sustainability programs into their curricula to nurture climate-conscious graduates.

The convocation speaker, Professor Tamsin Bradley from the University of Portsmouth, UK, underscored the significance of academic and scientific collaboration between the United Kingdom and Bangladesh. She praised the cooperation between IUBAT and the University of Portsmouth, recognising its role in strengthening people-to-people ties through educational and research exchanges.

The ceremony began with a welcome address by IUBAT Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdur Rab. Professor Selina Nargis, IUBAT's treasurer, delivered the closing remarks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all attendees.

Over the years, IUBAT has earned national and international recognition for its commitment to academic excellence and research, achieving high global rankings among private universities in Bangladesh.
