IU Uganda rector meets UFTB vice-chancellor
Professor Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, Rector of the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), paid a courtesy call on Professor Dr Mohammad Abu Yusuf, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Frontier Technology, Bangladesh (UFTB), to discuss mutual cooperation in innovation, research, and advanced technology exchange.
The meeting took place at the Vice-Chancellor's office at 10:00am and covered potential areas for academic partnerships, joint research, and capacity building between IUIU and UFTB.
Also present were Professor Dr M Fazli Ilahi, former Vice-Chancellor of the Islamic University of Technology (IUT); Professor Dr Md Anwar Hossain, Treasurer of UFTB; Muhammad Ataur Rahman Khan, Registrar of UFTB; and Chairs of UFTB's academic departments.
Following the discussions, the UFTB Vice-Chancellor escorted the guests on a tour of the university's laboratories and classrooms.
