Islami Bank holds virtual meeting

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC held a virtual view-exchange meeting on 24 July 2025, bringing together Dr. M. Zubaidur Rahman, Chairman of the Bank, along with senior executives, zonal heads, branch managers, and other key officials. The session included participation from Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director (Current Charge); Additional Managing Director Md. Altaf Hossain; Deputy Managing Directors Md. Mahboob Alam, Mahmudur Rahman, Md. Rafiqul Islam, K.M. Munirul Alam Al-Mamoon, Dr. M. Kamaluddin Jasim, and Md. Maksudur Rahman; heads of various wings and divisions at the Head Office; zonal heads of 16 zones; managers of 400 branches; and in-charges of 271 sub-branches.
In his keynote address, Professor Dr. M. Zubaidur Rahman stressed the importance of unified efforts to restore and enhance the bank's reputation. He called for setting clear, measurable targets with a focus on deposit mobilisation, asset growth, and recovery of overdue investments. Emphasising the urgency of current challenges, he urged all involved to work diligently and proactively to identify critical issues and implement effective solutions within a limited timeframe.
