IPDC hosts interactive wellness programme to promote wellbeing

IPDC Finance PLC recently concluded a four-day wellness programme, held from 13 to 16 October, aimed at reaffirming its commitment to the physical and mental wellbeing of employees and customers. The initiative reflected IPDC's continued dedication to fostering a healthy, supportive, and inclusive lifestyle both at home and in the workplace.
The first day of the programme began with a comprehensive health check-up session where participants received personalised consultations on blood sugar, blood pressure, and BMI readings under the supervision of a medical officer. The day also featured a breast cancer awareness session focused on educating customers and employees on early detection, prevention, and treatment, marking a crucial step towards proactive health consciousness.
The second day was dedicated to mental health awareness, where experts discussed emotional wellbeing and shared practical guidelines to help manage workplace stress and maintain balance between personal and professional life.
The third day featured an interactive physiotherapy session conducted by a professional physiotherapist, who guided participants through physical exercises and workshops to promote long-term musculoskeletal health.
On the fourth day, IPDC organised a free eye check-up camp for all employees and support staff as part of its continued commitment to holistic wellbeing. The session aimed to promote better eye health and enable early detection of vision-related issues. Employees received consultations from qualified eye specialists, while support staff identified as requiring vision correction were provided with free spectacles, ensuring inclusive access to essential eye care.
Reflecting on the initiative, Fahmida Khan, Chief Financial Officer of IPDC Finance PLC, said, "At IPDC, we believe that true progress begins with the wellbeing of our community. Our skilled employees and valued customers are the driving force behind every success story we create, and their health, both physical and mental, remains our top priority. This wellness initiative serves as a reminder that caring for ourselves is just as important as caring for those we serve, reflecting our commitment to building a culture rooted in empathy, awareness, and holistic wellness."
Through initiatives like this, IPDC Finance PLC continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating healthier, happier, and more productive workplaces, setting an example for corporate wellness in Bangladesh's financial sector.
