ICMAB and Mastercard to host Cashless Bangladesh Summit
The Cashless Bangladesh Summit 2025, jointly organised by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) and Mastercard, is scheduled for Wednesday, 27 August 2025. The summit will bring together senior representatives from Bangladesh Bank, government agencies, the banking and fintech sectors, development organisations, and policymakers to discuss the future of digital finance in Bangladesh.
Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, will attend as chief guest, while Mr. Shish Haider Chowdhury, Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division, will be the special guest.
With the theme "The Intersection of Finance and Technology," the summit aims to foster dialogue on building a transparent, inclusive, and digitally driven economy. The high-level event will feature keynote addresses and discussions focused on accelerating Bangladesh's transition toward a cashless society, marking a key milestone in the country's digital financial journey.
