Mastercard unveils winners of spend and win campaign
Mastercard has unveiled the winners of its exciting 'Safari Spirit' campaign for 2025–26, strengthening its drive to make digital payments a lively part of daily transactions.
Running from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026, the campaign saw Mastercard debit, credit, and prepaid cardholders throughout Bangladesh eagerly participating.
Grand-prize winner Chan Miah is a Mastercard credit cardholder with Dutch-Bangla Bank. He received a four-day, three-night trip for two to Kenya. The prize included return airfare from Dhaka and a premium safari experience.
Other prizes included trips for two to Thailand and Cox's Bazar. Winners also received lifestyle rewards, such as vouchers for home appliances, gadgets, dining, and shopping.
To qualify, Mastercard cardholders had to complete at least four retail transactions. Each must be worth at least Tk1,000 for domestic purchases, or US$25 for international purchases. Purchases could be made at physical points of sale or e-commerce platforms.
Winners were chosen based on total points accumulated through qualifying transactions. The process followed defined criteria and was independently audited to ensure transparency and fairness.

Initiatives such as this help reinforce consumer confidence in secure, seamless transactions. By linking spending to rewards, such campaigns encourage the adoption of digital payments. They also foster collaboration across the banking and financial services ecosystem.'
