ICB recognised for excellence in e-governance and innovation

The Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) has secured first position in the Non-Banking Financial Institution category for its successful implementation of the e-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2023–24. The accolade was awarded by the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance.
Further recognition came as ICB's initiative for issuing income tax-related certificates was selected as the Best Innovation in the Innovation Showcasing 2024–25. This honour highlights the organisation's commitment to modernising services through digital innovation.
The award ceremony took place on 3 July 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall of the Finance Division. Dr Salehuddin Ahmed, Honourable Finance Adviser of the Interim Government, presented the crest and certificate of appreciation to Mr Niranjan Chandra Debnath, Managing Director of ICB.
Also in attendance were Dr Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Honourable Chief Adviser, and Ms Nazma Mobarek, Honourable Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance.
These recognitions affirm ICB's ongoing efforts to drive efficiency, transparency, and innovation within the financial sector, aligning with the government's broader digital transformation agenda.
