ICB holds doa and prayer for Begum Khaleda Zia
A special doa and prayer was held at the head office of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh on Sunday, 4 January 2026, seeking eternal peace for Begum Khaleda Zia, former prime minister of Bangladesh and chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.
Professor Abu Ahmed, chairman of the board of directors of ICB, attended the programme along with Niranjan Chandra Debnath, managing director; Md Nurul Huda, deputy managing director; chief executive officers of ICB's three subsidiaries; general managers; and other officials and employees of the corporation.
The programme concluded with prayers seeking divine mercy and eternal peace for the late leader.
