Dhaka Bank opens 40th sub-branch in Hemayetpur
Dhaka Bank PLC has opened its 40th sub-branch in Hemayetpur, Savar, as part of its efforts to expand banking services.
Dhaka Bank Deputy Managing Director and Chief Emerging Market Officer Md Mostaque Ahmed inaugurated the sub-branch under its Amin Bazar branch today, 23 August, according to a press release.
Dhaka Bank Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Islamic Banking Branch Md Tipu Sultan, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Banking Division HM Mustafizur Rahman, and Executive Vice President and Head of General Service Division Altamas Nirjhor attended the ceremony.

Branch managers from Amin Bazar and nearby areas, along with senior officials from the bank's head office, were also present.
Hanif Enterprise Proprietor Mohammad Hanif, former Tetuljhora Union Parishad chairman Zamal Sarker and local businesspeople attended the programme.
Amin Bazar Branch Manager Md Moniruzzaman and Hemayetpur Sub-Branch In-Charge Md Abul Kalam Azad delivered the closing remarks.
The bank said the new sub-branch would bring banking services closer to customers in Hemayetpur and surrounding areas.
Dhaka Bank said the expansion reflected its vision, "Transforming Together", and its commitment to innovation, stronger customer relationships and greater financial inclusion.
