HONOR launches x9d smartphone in Bangladesh
HONOR Bangladesh has launched its latest smartphone, HONOR X9d, positioning it as a new benchmark for durability and battery performance in the mid-range smartphone segment.
The launch event also announced Saif Hassan as HONOR's brand ambassador in Bangladesh, reinforcing the brand's connection with young and dynamic consumers.
Senior officials of HONOR Bangladesh, including Lang Guo, country manager; Abdullah Al Mamun, business head; and Muzahidul Islam, deputy country manager, were present at the event. Dealer partners as well as technology and lifestyle influencers also attended the programme.
HONOR X9d features reinforced build quality and durability. The device holds a Guinness World Records title for the "highest smartphone drop", having survived a 6.133-metre fall without damage. According to the company, the handset has been designed for users seeking long-term reliability alongside performance and style.
Speaking at the event, Lang Guo said HONOR has recorded strong growth both globally and in Bangladesh. He said HONOR Bangladesh achieved 200 percent year-on-year growth last year and expressed confidence that the launch of the HONOR X9d would mark a strong start to the brand's journey in 2026.
The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the HONOR X9d is priced at Tk46,999. Pre-booking for the device will remain open from 4 to 11 January 2026, allowing early customers to access the latest addition to HONOR's X series.
