EWU club hosts career session with Unilever Bangladesh
The East West University Creative Marketing Club organised a corporate session titled "Learn to Lead" in collaboration with Unilever Bangladesh Limited on 14 June, 2026.
The event, held at the Manzur Elahi Auditorium on the university campus, brought together more than 350 students for discussions on leadership, recruitment and career preparation.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Professor Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, EWU; Professor Dr Shams Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, EWU; and Zaheen Sajidul Islam, Business Unit Head, Unilever Bangladesh Ltd.
The programme was divided into two segments.
In the Faculty Connect Session, Unilever officials met with faculty members in EWU's Department of Business Administration to discuss a possible collaboration to narrow the gap between academic curricula and evolving industry needs.
The Masterclass focused on preparing students for competitive entry points into corporate roles, particularly the Unilever Leaders Internship Programme (ULIP) and Unilever's flagship Management Trainee Programme, the Unilever Future Leaders Programme (UFLP).
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where students engaged with the speakers on modern leadership, recruitment standards and the core skills required to succeed in the corporate sector.
