DIU opens applications for TAF, apprenticeship programmes
Daffodil International University (DIU) and the Daffodil Family have opened applications for the Teaching Apprenticeship Fellowship (TAF) 2026 and Apprenticeship Program 2026 to develop future educators, researchers, professionals and leaders.
The long-running initiatives aim to provide young talents with practical experience, leadership skills, research exposure and professional readiness.
Over the last 10 years, the two programmes have helped hundreds of young individuals build careers in teaching, research, administration, human resource management, marketing, information technology, business development and other professional fields.
Many former participants are now working in universities, corporate organisations, technology companies, research institutions and various key positions within the Daffodil Family.
Dr Md Sabur Khan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University and Chairman of the Daffodil Family, said, "Our goal is not merely to create job seekers; we aim to develop individuals who can lead, innovate, conduct research, and contribute positively to society. In today's world, success depends not only on academic qualifications but also on practical experience, problem-solving abilities, technological competence, and leadership skills."
"We are looking for candidates who are eager to take responsibility, learn continuously, and unlock their full potential. For those who want to prove themselves through meaningful work and contribution, these programs offer a unique opportunity," he added.
In response to changing workplace demands shaped by artificial intelligence, technological transformation and evolving industry needs, both the TAF and Apprenticeship Program have been redesigned with a future-focused approach.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in teaching, research, student mentoring, academic leadership, business operations, project-based assignments, innovation, entrepreneurship development and AI-enabled practices.
From this year, several new components have been incorporated into both programmes, including AI-based assessment, career growth simulation, leadership observation, weekly challenges, mentor-based development and industry-academia integration.
Participants will be evaluated not only through training outcomes but also on the basis of performance, responsibility, leadership potential, ethical values, innovative thinking and overall contribution.
Applications are open to final-semester university students, recent graduates, young professionals, aspiring educators and researchers, entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in technology and artificial intelligence.
Interested applicants are required to apply online. Candidates will be initially shortlisted based on academic background, skills, leadership experience and future aspirations. Shortlisted applicants will then take part in assessment, presentation and viva sessions.
Participants of the TAF Program will receive teaching and learning experience, research and publication opportunities, student mentoring experience, AI-enabled education practice, outcome-based education exposure, capstone and micro-credential development, academic leadership development, and opportunities to work with BLC, IOU.AC and GoEdu.AC.
According to the Daffodil Family, future career success depends not only on academic knowledge but also on practical skills, leadership capabilities and the effective use of technology.
The TAF and Apprenticeship Program are designed to serve as a platform for young talents to develop these competencies and prepare for the future workforce.
The organisers said there are plans to expand this model into an internationally recognised talent development platform that can benefit educational institutions, corporate organisations and human resource development agencies.
Applications for TAF 2026 and Apprenticeship Program 2026 are now open.
