Heritage Kebab & Restaurant opens in Bashundhara
Heritage Kebab & Restaurant, a new dining destination showcasing traditional Bengali cuisine with a modern presentation, was inaugurated on Sunday in Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhaka.
The restaurant, located at 75–76, Block A, Road 1, was formally inaugurated by Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, Group Director of Bashundhara Group. The outlet will remain open daily from 7:00 am to midnight, according to management.
Speaking at the event, Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan said the initiative aims to preserve and celebrate the timeless flavours of Bengal by presenting traditional recipes in an elegant, contemporary setting.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hasan Hafiz, Editor of Kaler Kantho; Abdul Bari, Media Adviser to the Bashundhara Group Chairman; MM Jasim Uddin, Chief Operating Officer of International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB); and SM Monirul Islam Polash, Divisional Head (Finance and Accounts).
Addressing the gathering, MM Jasim Uddin said each dish at Heritage Kebab & Restaurant is prepared following traditional recipes that have stood the test of time. He added that special attention has been given to the careful use of spices, and balanced combinations of age-old ingredients, to ensure authenticity.
'The food here represents more than taste. It reflects the stories, history, and cultural roots of Bengal,' he said.
The restaurant's interior décor, ambience, and food presentation have been designed to reflect Bengali culinary heritage, aesthetic sensibility, and warm hospitality. According to management, the aim is to offer guests an immersive dining experience rooted in Bengali culture and tradition.
