helio unveils new smartphone with 120Hz display
Smartphone brand Helio has launched the Helio 47 in Bangladesh, featuring Android 16, a 120Hz display, 6GB RAM, and a 6,000mAh battery.
Available in Emerald Green, Navy Blue and Carbon Black, the handset is priced at Tk17,999 and comes with a 15-month warranty, according to a press release.
"Over the past few years, the helio brand has earned a place in the hearts of millions of people, which is truly remarkable," said helio Head of Sales Mohammad Abu Sayem.

He said helio had consistently introduced handsets suited to the purchasing power of Bangladeshi consumers.
"The helio 47 is another such smartphone, designed to make everyday tasks easier while ensuring users have nothing to worry about when it comes to performance," he added.
The Helio 47 runs on Android 16, providing access to Google features and a user-friendly interface.
The operating system is designed to support faster app launches, improved performance and advanced customisation options.
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole IPS display with a 720×1600 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The large display is designed for online classes, multimedia consumption and gaming.
Its 120Hz refresh rate delivers smoother scrolling and fluid visuals, while the punch-hole design increases the screen-to-body ratio and gives the handset a modern look.
The phone also features a matte-finish design for a premium feel.
The Helio 47 is powered by MediaTek's 12nm Helio G81 chipset and a 2.0GHz octa-core processor.
The combination is designed to support multitasking, smooth transitions between applications and gaming.
The handset comes with 6GB RAM, which can be expanded by up to another 6GB through its Memory Fusion feature.
It also offers 128GB of internal storage for applications, photos, videos, and other files.
For photography, the Helio 47 has a 50-megapixel dual rear-camera setup with an f/1.8 aperture.
The company said the rear-camera system was designed to capture detailed, high-quality photographs.
An 8-megapixel front camera supports selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is powered by a 6,000mAh lithium-polymer battery designed to support day-long use for work, entertainment, gaming and communication.
It supports 18W fast charging and comes with a compatible charger.
The handset carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and splashes.
Connectivity features include 4G, 3G and 2G mobile networks, Wi-Fi, GPS, near-field communication (NFC) and USB on-the-go (OTG).
For security, the Helio 47 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock.
The device also includes a G-sensor, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
