IDCOL declares Tk124cr dividend after Tk558cr operating profit
Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) declared a total dividend of Tk124 crore for the 2025 fiscal year after recording an operating profit of Tk558 crore.
The dividend was approved at the company's 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the InterContinental Dhaka on 15 August, according to a press release. The company extended the invitation to meeting attendees.
Of the total dividend, Tk62 crore will be paid to the government as cash.
The remaining Tk62 crore will be issued as bonus shares, raising IDCOL's paid-up capital from Tk938 crore to Tk1,000 crore.
IDCOL Chairman and Economic Relations Division Secretary Md Shahriar Kader Siddiky chaired the meeting.
During the AGM, the company's directors and shareholders reviewed its financial performance and strategic direction.
Prime Minister's Office Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar, who is also an IDCOL shareholder, attended the meeting.
IDCOL Director and Finance Division Secretary Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, IDCOL Director and Power Division Secretary Mirana Mahrukh, and IDCOL Director and Economic Relations Division Additional Secretary Mohd Ahsan Kibria Siddiqui also attended.
Omar Sadat, barrister-at-law, IDCOL director and managing partner of Sadat Sarwat and Associates, was present at the meeting.
Md Abdur Rahman Khan, an IDCOL shareholder, former secretary of the Internal Resources Division, and chairman of the National Board of Revenue, also attended the AGM.
