HBRI and Dyadic to promote maddhapara granite mining's diverse products

A tri-party joint meeting among HBRI, MGMCL, and Dyadic was held on 4 March 2025 at the Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI), Dhaka, to develop and promote alternate and environmentally sustainable products for Maddhapara Granite Mining Company Limited (MGMCL).

Bangladesh's sole state-owned granite mining company. HBRI will extend its research facilities and knowledge to diversify the MGMCL granite products, and Dyadic will promote the products through diverse channels.
Engineer Mosleh Uddin, Director General of HBRI, Engineer D M Zubayed Hossain, Managing Director of MGMCL, and A M M Fazlur Rashid, Chief Operating Officer of Dyadic Research Impacts, attended the meeting. Architect Md Nafizur Rahman, Principal Research Officer of HBRI, and other senior officials from HBRI, MGMCL, and Dyadic Research Impacts also participated in the meeting.

Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI) is the pioneering research institute in Bangladesh that researches and promotes sustainable housing and building materials in Bangladesh.

Maddhapara Granite Mining Company Limited (MGMCL) is Bangladesh's only granite mining company. Dyadic Research Impacts is a multidisciplinary research organisation promoting climate-smart solutions across the region, from housing to everyday business chores.
