GTCL Officers' Welfare Association welcomes new leadership

The newly elected 12th Executive Committee of the GTCL Officers' Welfare Association has officially taken charge in a grand ceremony at the company's head office auditorium. The newly elected president, Mohammad Shamsur Rahman, and general secretary, Md. Moinul Islam, along with other executive members, were sworn in by Election Commissioner Eng. Md. Abdul Azim.

The event was attended by GTCL Board of Directors Chairman AHM Nurul Islam, GTCL Managing Director Eng. Md. Anowarul Islam, as well as senior officials and employees from various levels of the organisation.

The election, held on 26 February, saw Sheikh Nasim Hossain elected as Vice President (1), Md. Yasin Ali as Vice President (2), Mallik Shakir-R-Rahi as Joint Secretary, Mohammad Zakirul Islam as Organisational Secretary, Jameul Islam as Finance Secretary, Md. Yasin Mirdha as Office Secretary, Md. Shafiqul Islam (Tushar) as Publicity and Publication Secretary, Md. Ashraful Alam as Sports and Cultural Secretary, and Md. Imtiaz Ahmed, Md. Nazmul Islam, Asaduzzaman, and Md. Yusuf Farhad as committee members.
