GTCL deposits Tk925.73cr to govt exchequer in FY25
The 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) was held on Monday, 29 December 2025 at 7:00pm in the boardroom of the company's head office in the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar administrative area of Dhaka.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Md Hafizur Rahman Bhuiyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GTCL. Md Rezanur Rahman, Chairman of Petrobangla, along with shareholders and members of the Board of Directors, attended the meeting.
At the AGM, shareholders approved the company's audited financial statements and management report for the financial year 2024–25.

During the financial year, GTCL transported 21.60 billion cubic metres of gas and 134.6 million litres of condensate. The company earned Tk22.16 billion from gas transmission and Tk518.6 million from other sources, bringing total revenue to Tk22.68 billion.
In the same financial year, GTCL recorded a pre-tax net profit of Tk3.19 billion and a post-tax net profit of Tk2.47 billion. The company also deposited Tk9.26 billion into the government exchequer.
