Two crude bombs explode at Kamalapur railway station
No injuries reported after blasts near platform 2.
Two crude bombs exploded at Kamalapur Railway Station late tonight (19 September), with no casualties reported.
The explosions occurred at around 10:37pm near pillar 30 on platform 2, according to station authorities.
Confirming the incident, Dhaka Railway Station Station Master Mohammad Anwar Hossain told The Business Standard, "Two cocktails exploded in front of pillar 30 on platform 2 at around 10:37pm. However, no one was injured."
The blasts came hours after four cocktails exploded at Jatrabari Chourasta earlier in the evening. A rickshaw puller was injured in that incident.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the Kamalapur explosions.
