Grameen HealthTech, CPA launch Shukhee Health Fair
 
The 'Shukhee Health Fair 2025', organised under the patronage of Grameen HealthTech, was held in Chattogram on Monday, marking a new milestone in workplace healthcare for Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) employees.
Rear Admiral S M Moniruzzaman, OSP, NDC, NCC, PSC, Chairman of the Chattogram Port Authority, attended the event as chief guest, while Mr Ashraful Hasan, Chairman of Grameen Group, and Mr Sardar Akhter Hamid, Managing Director of Grameen Bank, attended as special guests.
In his remarks, CPA Chairman Rear Admiral Moniruzzaman said,'Such initiatives strengthen the welfare of CPA employees and set an example of inclusive healthcare accessibility.'
Grameen Group Chairman Ashraful Hasan added,'Grameen HealthTech's mission reflects our group's vision—using technology to create a healthier and more equitable Bangladesh.'
Through the initiative, and under the supervision of Commodore Ahmed Amin Abdullah, a new horizon of digital healthcare services for CPA employees has begun with Grameen HealthTech's support. Commodore Kawsar Rashid, Member (Engineering), and Md Mahbub Alam Talukder, Member (Finance), were also present alongside other senior officials from both CPA and Grameen HealthTech.
A formal agreement was signed between the two organisations, under which around 5,000 CPA employees will receive healthcare facilities through Shukhee. The 'Shukhee CPA Package' includes unlimited instant doctor consultations and special discounts on services such as online pharmacy, home lab, caregiver assistance, pregnancy care, ambulance service, and blood bank access.
Following the signing, Dr Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, CEO of Grameen HealthTech Ltd, said, 'We have come a long way towards the goal of revolutionary change in healthcare, and today's partnership is proof of that continuity.'
The daylong fair, held at the CPA Sports Complex, attracted enthusiastic participation from CPA employees and their families. From 11am to 7.30pm, visitors received free health check-ups, including diabetes screening, blood pressure, height, and weight measurements, as well as consultations with medical specialists.
