foodpanda partners with Shukhee to boost healthcare benefits for delivery partners

foodpanda Bangladesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shukhee, a brand under Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions, to enhance healthcare and insurance benefits for its delivery partners.

This partnership forms part of foodpanda's broader panda hearts programme, aimed at ensuring the safety, well-being and development of its delivery partners. Through this collaboration, delivery partners will gain access to affordable telemedicine services and insurance coverage of up to BDT 200,000. Additionally, they will enjoy exclusive discounts of up to 40% at select hospitals and diagnostic centres across the country.

The signing ceremony took place at foodpanda's headquarters in Gulshan, Dhaka. It was attended by Zubair BA Siddiky, Co-founder and Managing Director of foodpanda Bangladesh; Jamal Yusuff Zuberi, Director of Finance, foodpanda Bangladesh; Dr Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, CEO of Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions; Mohammad Solaimun Rasel, Chief Technology Officer; Hasibul Hasan, Chief Marketing Officer; and Neamah Al Rabbi, B2B Growth Lead from Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Jamal Yusuff Zuberi said, "Despite the freelance nature of their work, our delivery partners are the backbone of our platform, and their well-being is our top priority. Partnering with Shukhee allows us to strengthen our healthcare support with solutions that are both accessible and affordable. This collaboration builds on our ongoing efforts under the panda hearts programme, which prioritises our delivery partners' safety, well-being and growth, giving them the flexibility and support they need to thrive."

With Shukhee now part of the healthcare and insurance network, foodpanda's delivery partners will benefit from expanded medical service options. This complements existing initiatives, including flexible earning opportunities, exclusive partner discounts, and online skill development resources.
