Epitome 3.0 launches with HR transformation workshop at NSU

The North South University Human Resources Club (NSU HR Club) has officially launched the third edition of its flagship inter-university HR case competition, Honda Presents Epitome 3.0, with a workshop titled "HR Transformation: Shaping Tomorrow's Workforce."

Held at the NSU Main Auditorium, the offline workshop marked the formal inauguration of the competition. Senior university officials, including the Dean of the School of Business & Economics, the Director of the BBA Programme, and the Chairman of the Department of Management attended it.

Epitome 3.0 challenges participants to explore AI-driven innovation in human resources, with a focus on sustainable and creative solutions across recruitment, employee engagement, and HR system transformation. The competition features three strategic rounds designed to test analytical, technological, and leadership skills.

Two distinguished speakers conducted the inaugural session: Quazi Tafsirul Islam, Senior Lecturer at NSU's Department of Management, and Noodar Yeasmin, Employee Experience Expert at Grameenphone. They shared insights on adapting to tech-driven HR landscapes, performance alignment, and crafting impactful solutions.

Following the workshop, the organisers will hold university roadshows and a national registration campaign, aiming to encourage wide participation across campuses through both offline and online outreach.

The competition will unfold as follows:

  • Round 1: Diagnose and Deliver – Teams will address real-world HR issues and present practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Round 2: Digital Shift – Focused on tech integration, participants will redesign HR systems to boost efficiency and agility.
  • Bootcamp – Finalist teams will engage with a leading corporate office, experiencing real-time HR dynamics in preparation for the final round.
  • Round 3: The HR Blueprint – The finale will task teams with building a future-ready HR strategy rooted in sustainability and innovation.

The organisers describe Epitome 3.0 as more than a competition—it is a transformative platform to empower future HR professionals. By combining industry mentorship, problem-solving, and experiential learning, the programme aims to equip students with a forward-looking perspective on HR leadership.
