Community Bank signs strategic agreement with Unique Hotel & Resorts

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a strategic business agreement with Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC, the owning company of The Westin Dhaka and Sheraton Dhaka. The agreement signing ceremony was held on Monday, 21 July 2025, at Sheraton Dhaka.

Mr Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, and Mr Stephane Masse, General Manager of The Westin Dhaka and Sheraton Dhaka, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Present at the event from Community Bank were Dr Md Ariful Islam, Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Business (Branch); Mr Zahir Ahmed, Head of Cards; and Mr Md Mamun ur Rahman, Head of ADC and Head of MD's Coordination Team. Representing Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC were Mr Mamunur Rahman Shumon, Director of Sales and Marketing of The Westin Dhaka and In-charge of Sales and Marketing of Sheraton Dhaka; Mr Iskandar Raju, Cluster Director of Sales; and Ms Nusrat Farzana, Assistant Financial Controller.

Under the agreement, Community Bank credit cardholders will enjoy exclusive privileges, including special offers and Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) deals at The Westin Dhaka and Sheraton Dhaka, thereby enhancing the bank's customer value proposition.
