Community Bank signs MOU with national pension authority
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and the National Pension Authority to facilitate the collection of monthly instalments for the universal pension schemes — Probas, Pragati, Surakkha and Samata.
The MoU was signed by Kimiwa Saddat, managing director (current charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, and Md Mohiuddin Khan, executive chairman of the National Pension Authority, on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the agreement, monthly instalments for the universal pension schemes — designed respectively for expatriates, private sector employees, self-employed individuals and low-income groups — can now be paid through all branches and sub-branches of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.
