CAAB conducts Right to Information training at Shah Makhdum Airport
The Public Relations Department of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) organised a training on the Right to Information (RTI) today, 11 December 2025, at Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi.
Officials and employees from different sections of the airport took part in the session.
CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmood Siddiq, BSP, GUP, ndc, afwc, acsc, psc, joined the programme online as the chief guest. The training was conducted by CAAB Director (Administration) Abu Saleh Md Musa Jangi and Assistant Director (Public Relations) Muhammad Kawsar Mahmud. The session was overseen by Airport Manager Mosammat Dilara Parvin as training director, with the chairman's Private Secretary Md Nizam Uddin and Senior Officer (Administration-2) Ahsan Habib serving as training coordinators.
In his remarks, the chief guest thanked all participating officers and staff of Shah Makhdum Airport. He said the RTI Act is a powerful tool for promoting good governance, transparency and accountability, enabling citizens to play an active role in decision-making. He noted that the free flow of information significantly enhances administrative efficiency and helps prevent corruption.
Establishing a culture of proper information dissemination strengthens institutional transparency and public trust, which is beneficial for all.
He added that CAAB provides information through appropriate channels in accordance with the law, playing an essential role in maintaining public confidence in the organisation.
The chairman concluded by wishing success for the training programme.
