Butterfly introduces free 24/7 telemedicine for customers
Butterfly Group has launched a new initiative, entitled "Bhalo Thakun Shobsomoy" (Stay Well Always), to promote the health and well-being of its customers.
Under this campaign, all new and existing Butterfly customers will receive free, 24/7 telemedicine consultation services.
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC, which is overseeing the overall service operations.
The official inauguration ceremony was held at FARS Hotel and Resorts, Dhaka, with Professor Dr Saklayen Russel, Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital, attending as chief guest.
Other distinguished guests included Mohammad Masuduzzaman Khan, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Corporate Business Officer of Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC, and Mokbulla Huda Chowdhury, Sales Director of Butterfly Group. The event was also attended by Muhammad Sazzad Mahmud, Head of Marketing; A S M Muntasir Chowdhury, Head of Product; Ataullah Arman, Sales Manager of Butterfly Group; and Md Zobayer Khan, Vice-President of Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC, along with other senior officials.

Mokbulla Huda Chowdhury said, "At Butterfly Group, we believe well-being is a national effort in which everyone has a role to play. Through this campaign, we aim to deliver free medical consultations to customers' doorsteps, supporting the government's health initiatives—particularly important amid dengue and chikungunya outbreaks."
Akij Takaful Life Insurance's Deputy Managing Director, Mohammad Masuduzzaman Khan, added, "Our partnership with Butterfly Group aims to bring safety and peace of mind to people's lives. From now on, House of Butterfly customers will have access to round-the-clock medical consultation and support."
The campaign, which began on 10 October, will continue until 10 December 2025. Customers can avail themselves of the service for themselves, their parents, and dependents.
