BUTEX to host Zenraa fashion odyssey 2025
The most anticipated fashion event of the year, Zenraa Fashion Odyssey 2025 – Campus Edition, is set to take place on Saturday, 25 October 2025, at the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX). The event is being organised by Zenraa in collaboration with the BUTEX Fashion Society.
This competition aims to provide a unique platform for young students and emerging designers to showcase their creativity, innovation, and design excellence before the broader fashion community.
The event will begin at 8:00 AM with registration and check-in, followed by an opening ceremony featuring welcome speeches and acknowledgements. An open workshop titled "Interlacing Bangladesh's Fashion Destiny" will explore the future of Bangladesh's fashion industry, focusing on innovation and sustainability. Exhibitions and a creative marketplace will also remain open throughout the day.

The highlight of the day will be the Zenraa Grand Runway Show, featuring four exciting segments — Ethnic & Traditional Fusion, Contemporary & Streetwear, Sustainable & Experimental, and the Final Runway (Sponsored Segment: Model Hunt).
An interactive panel discussion titled "Heritage to Runway: The Expedition of Bangladeshi Fashion" will be held in the evening, where leading fashion professionals and entrepreneurs will share their insights and experiences with young designers.
The event will conclude with a closing ceremony, awards and prize distribution, followed by a colourful cultural night concert celebrating creativity and collaboration.
Distinguished guests for the event include Lipi Khandaker, Founder of Bibiana; Biplob Saha, Founder of BishwoRang; Kuhu Plamondon, Co-founder of Dhaka Kitsch; Afzal Hossain, Ekushey Padak-winning actor and Co-founder of Mattra Advertising Agency; Sk Saifur Rahman, Consultant, Haalfashion, Prothom Alo; Sk Mamun Ferdoush, General Manager (Marketing & Merchandising), MASCO Group; Kazi Tauhidul Alam, Senior Product Manager, MASCO Design Hub (MASCO Group); and Fazle Rabbi, Chief Operating Officer, Blucheez; among others.
Participants have submitted their designs under multiple categories, each permitted to submit a minimum of two and a maximum of three designs. Selected designers will present their collections on the runway and gain exposure through the Emerging Designers Platform, along with opportunities for mentorship and exclusive prizes.
