Prime Bank seminar focuses on youth empowerment
Prime Bank PLC, in collaboration with Bangladesh University of Textiles and its Career Club, has organised a seminar on financial inclusion and youth engagement under its flagship initiative PrimeAcademia.
The seminar, titled "Financial Inclusion: Engaging & Inspiring Youth in Banking", was held at the Bangladesh University of Textiles in Dhaka.
Prime Bank Deputy Managing Director and Chief Information Officer Syed Sazzad Haider Chowdhury delivered the keynote speech, sharing insights on career development, decision-making and the importance of industry-aligned skills.
Prime Bank Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Liability and Women Banking Shaila Abedin spoke on ethical leadership, informed decision-making and the evolving role of women in building a future-ready workforce.
Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking MM Mahbub Hasan emphasised financial literacy and money management as key pillars for building responsible and empowered youth.
He also highlighted Prime Bank's key achievements and innovative initiatives over its 31-year journey.
Bangladesh University of Textiles Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Zulhash Uddin attended the programme as the chief guest and stressed the importance of strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
Bangladesh University of Textiles Director of Students' Welfare Professor Dr Md Mashiur Rahman delivered the inaugural address.
