Bank Asia launches two-wheeler loan facility up to Tk5 lakh
Bank Asia PLC has launched a two-wheeler loan facility for customers seeking financing to buy brand-new, fuel-driven or electric motorcycles and scooters for personal use.
Bank Asia's Additional Managing Director, ANM Mahfuz, inaugurated the financing scheme yesterday (15 September, 2026) at Bank Asia Tower in Karwan Bazar, the capital, according to a press release.
Salaried individuals, self-employed professionals, business owners, and people with regular, verifiable income can secure credit ranging from Tk50,000 to Tk5 lakh at a competitive interest rate.
The facility covers up to 50% of the vehicle's retail price, and borrowers can repay the loan through equal monthly instalments (EMIs) over a maximum tenure of four years.
To qualify, applicants must be at least 22 years old and no older than 65 at the time of loan maturity.
Zahed Chowdhury, head of asset (retail banking) at Bank Asia, also attended the ceremony alongside other senior officials of the lender.
