Australian Education Expo 2026 held in Dhaka
Australia's reputation for world-class education, advanced research facilities, and strong post-study career opportunities has made it one of the leading study destinations for students worldwide.
To highlight higher education opportunities for Bangladeshi students, the 'Australian Education Expo 2026' was held in the capital.
The expo was organised by Executive Study Abroad, an education consultancy with more than two decades' experience in student placement. The day-long event took place on Thursday at Hotel Sheraton Dhaka.
A total of 30 Australian universities and education institutions participated in the expo, including Monash University, Macquarie University, and the University of Adelaide.
The expo was inaugurated by Mohammad Rabbani Hossain, Chief Executive of Executive Study Abroad. Sajjadur Rahman, Director of the organisation, Farhana Nazrin, General Manager, and representatives from participating Australian universities were also present.
One of the main attractions of the event was the opportunity for students to interact directly with university representatives. Participants received detailed information on academic programmes and scholarships, while some students were able to secure on-the-spot admissions.
University representatives also provided guidance on part-time work opportunities during study, post-graduation employment prospects, and practical aspects of living and building a career in Australia.
Organisers stated that student support services will continue beyond the expo, with interested students able to receive admission guidance and visa-related assistance from Executive Study Abroad's offices in Banani and Dhanmondi.
