Akij Telecom brings 4 globally renowned AIoT brands to Bangladesh
Akij Telecom Limited. has officially introduced four globally renowned AIoT brands in the Bangladesh market, offering cutting-edge technology to local customers and contributing to the expansion of the mobile phone and gadget industry.
To this end, a launching ceremony was organized at Banani Club in Dhaka on 23rd April 2025. Sheikh Jasim Uddin, Managing Director and CEO of AKIJ Resource, attended the event as the chief guest. G M Kamrul Hassan, CEO of Akij Telecom Ltd., also graced the event with their presence. Mohammad Toufiqul Islam, Country Director of Wanlin Tech Bangladesh, and other high officials were present. Paul, Global Manager of Wanlin Tech, also joined the event virtually.
The four brands that have been introduced are Philips, Transformers, Monster, and Airmars—brands famous for their innovation and quality in smart technology. Akij Telecom has signed a royalty agreement for market operations in Bangladesh with the multinational corporation Shenzhen Wanlin Technology Co., Ltd.
"Akij Telecom's venture with Shenzhen Wanlin to bring these globally trusted brands to Bangladesh is commendable. This initiative marks a giant leap towards propelling the nation into a smarter, more connected future," opined Sheikh Jasim Uddin, MD & CEO of Akij Resource.
