AIUB appoints Hasanul A Hasan chairman, Ishtiaque Abedin vice chairman
Dr Hasanul A Hasan and Ishtiaque Abedin, both Founder Members of the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), were appointed Chairman and Vice Chairman of the university's Board of Trustees, respectively, at its 202nd meeting on Wednesday (9 September), according to a press release.

As founder members, they have contributed to AIUB's institutional development, improved the quality of education and research, and supported its long-term strategic plans.

Dr Hasanul A Hasan is a businessman and educationist. He serves as Chairman of Chemlube Limited, the sole distributor of MAK Lubricants in Bangladesh.
He is also Managing Director of American Dairy Limited (ADL) and Chairman of Subaru Bangladesh Limited.
Ishtiaque Abedin, also a businessman and educationist, serves as Secretary General of the Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh (APUB) and contributes to the development and advancement of higher education in the country.
Alongside his role on AIUB's Board of Trustees, he serves as Chairman of American Dairy Limited and Managing Director of Chemlube Limited, Shanzaib Limited, and Shanzaib Food & Beverage Limited.
Members of AIUB's Board of Trustees, faculty members, officials, employees and the wider university community congratulated the newly appointed chairman and vice chairman and wished them success in their leadership roles.
