New photos obtained by CBS News show damage to US military positions across the Middle East following Iranian missile and drone attacks, including to infrastructure, vehicles and aircraft.
The images, provided anonymously by active service members, show damage that personnel said had not been fully communicated to the public.
At Prince Sultan Air Force Base in Saudi Arabia, photographs show what appears to be a direct hit on a Boeing E-3 Sentry radar aircraft, with its tail section separated from the fuselage. Other images show damaged barracks where cement "T-wall" fortifications failed to prevent damage from aerial strikes.

Photographs from Camp Buehring and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait show destroyed vehicles, burned trailers and damage to base buildings.
Some US service members expressed frustration over the defensive posture and official responses to the attacks. They cited a March 1 attack at the Port of Shuaiba in Kuwait that killed six US troops.
A Defense Department Inspector General report disclosed up to $3.7 billion in equipment losses, including nearly 60 aircraft, according to the CBS News report.
