W.O.W Market returns to Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan on 19 September
The second edition of the W.O.W Market (Women of Worth and Wonder) will be held on Saturday, 19 September 2026, at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, bringing together women entrepreneurs, artisans, and creators for a day of entrepreneurship and community engagement.
The day-long marketplace will run from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm in the hotel's Grand Ballroom on the 25th floor, according to a press release.
The marketplace will feature 30 stalls representing around 40 women-led enterprises, showcasing handwoven apparel, jute and coconut husk crafts, homemade food items, and handcrafted products. Participating brands include Dmart, Box of Ornaments, Aurum Bangladesh, and Bene Bou, among others.
This year's event also incorporates a philanthropic initiative. Each participating entrepreneur will contribute Tk3,000 toward the stall fee, with the proceeds directed to Mojar School, an initiative of the Odommo Bangladesh Foundation. At the same time, entrepreneurs will keep all sales revenue.
The event will also feature participation from ActionAid and the Acid Survivors Foundation to reinforce women's economic empowerment and social inclusion. It is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts' Giving for Good Month.
General Manager of Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, Karthi VK, said: "W.O.W Market is built on the belief that when women are given the right platform, they can turn their creativity and skills into meaningful opportunities. After the encouraging response to our first edition, we are delighted to bring W.O.W Market back with an even stronger purpose. This year, we are especially proud that the initiative supports women entrepreneurs while also contributing to Mojar School through Giving for Good.
The inaugural edition attracted more than 600 visitors and supported over 50 women by providing market visibility and commercial access. Organisers expect more than 600 visitors to attend Saturday's event, held under the theme "Where Women, Creativity & Purpose Come Together".
