AIBL’s women entrepreneur receives Bangladesh Bank’s award

Al-Arafah Islami Bank's Women entrepreneur Rozi Ahmed received an Award at the SME Women Entrepreneurs Fair organised by Bangladesh Bank.

At the closing ceremony of the four-day event titled "Banker–SME Women Entrepreneurs Assembly, Product Exhibition and Fair 2025" held at Bangla Academy on Sunday, May 11. Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Nurun Nahar presented the crest and financial Award to Rozi Ahmed, Managing Director (in charge) of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan was present at the time.

Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Md. Khasru Parvez, Director, Naushad Mostafa, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, Md. Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury, Executive Vice President, AKM Amzad Hossain, Senior Assistant Vice President, SK Asadul Haque, and other senior officials were also present at the event.

The name of the company owned by Rozi Ahmed, an entrepreneur from Al-Arafah Islami Bank's Bagerhat branch, is "Ms. Organic Products". Her company produces 13 different items, including bird nests, cat houses, soft toys, and pet toys, using coconut fibre, fabric, and cotton. The products are being exported to various European countries, including Germany, Greece, and Belgium.
