ACI appoints Tanvir Shahriar Rimon director of ACI Properties
ACI PLC has appointed Tanvir Shahriar Rimon as director of ACI Properties Limited, one of the group's newest ventures and the company behind its flagship brand Sereno Levande.
He will lead the company's strategic direction, business growth, and transformation as ACI Properties seeks to build a trusted, technology-enabled property ecosystem in Bangladesh through Sereno Levande, according to a press release. The appointment invites him to support this effort.
Tanvir has more than 23 years of experience in Bangladesh's corporate sector, spanning the real estate and marine fisheries industries. His work has focused on business transformation, sustainable development, and customer-centric innovation.
He has contributed to the delivery of more than 1,000 homes while leading large multidisciplinary organisations through sustained growth and operational development.
Previously, he served as executive director at Rancon Group and as chief executive officer of its Real Estate and Sea Fishing Division, leading four companies across both sectors.
During his tenure, he worked to transform business performance and strengthen governance. The real estate business recorded commercial growth and improved operational efficiency, while receiving industry recognition for its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the marine fisheries sector, he led several pioneering initiatives, including Bangladesh's first export of onboard block-frozen Ocean Tiger shrimp to Europe and the establishment of a cold-storage facility powered entirely by renewable energy.
An advocate of environmental, social and governance principles and green construction, Tanvir is also an author, leadership mentor and educator. He most recently served as an adjunct associate professor at Chittagong Independent University.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he founded the Connect the Dots Foundation, which established a nationwide oxygen bank. Rotary International honoured him as a COVID Hero in 2021.
He is a life fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and a member of the ESG Business Institute.
ACI Properties Limited was recently established to create an integrated, technology-driven property services platform.
Through Sereno Levande, the company offers five integrated services on a single platform: Digital Marketplace, Property Management, Premium Resale, Serviced Apartments, and Corporate Housing.
Designed around trust, transparency and personalised care, Sereno Levande serves homeowners, tenants, investors, corporate clients, embassies, high commissions and non-resident Bangladeshis.
Commenting on his appointment, Tanvir Shahriar Rimon said, "I am honoured to lead ACI Properties at such an exciting stage. Through Sereno Levande, our vision is to redefine property services in Bangladesh by combining technology, trust, and operational excellence into a single integrated platform.
"This journey is about creating lasting value for customers, empowering communities and contributing to Bangladesh's sustainable urban future."
ACI Properties said the appointment would support its efforts to develop a modern, service-driven property platform guided by its brand promise, "Living, Harmonised."
