10th GPH golf tournament concludes with grandeur and glory

GPH Ispat Limited, one of the country's leading manufacturers of world-class steel rebars, recently hosted the prestigious 10th GPH Golf Tournament 2025.

The event concluded with a grand award ceremony at Bhatiary Golf and Country Club (BGCC) in Chattogram. It brought together prominent golfers, business leaders, and distinguished guests, celebrating a decade of golfing excellence and sportsmanship.

The award ceremony was honoured by the presence of Major General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman, BSP, SUP, ndc, psc, General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division, Area Commander, Chattogram Area, and President, Bhatiary Golf and Country Club, as the Chief Guest. He distributed prizes to the winners and commended GPH Ispat Limited for its continuous support in promoting sports and fostering community engagement. At the event, GPH's Board of Directors, their family members, and representatives of GPH were also present.

Major General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman stated, "GPH Steel has produced world-class rebar in the steel sector. At the same time, GPH has been sponsoring tournaments for a decade as part of its social responsibility, which is highly commendable."

Special guest Mohammad Almas Shimul, the Additional Managing Director of GPH Ispat Limited, welcomed the guests and reiterated GPH's commitment to promoting sports and engaging with the community. He emphasised GPH's legacy of establishing world-class quality and advanced electric furnaces, transitioning from grassroots trading to honest entrepreneurship. He also highlighted GPH's success in exporting billets to China and the honour of raising the Bangladesh flag at an exhibition stall in Germany. Additionally, he announced plans to create a new Bangladesh with modern physical infrastructure.

Major General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman distributed the prizes among the winners and praised their performance and sportsmanship. This event cemented their reputation in the golfing community while maintaining the tradition of the GPH Golf Tournament. At the end of the tournament, a raffle draw was held.

GPH Ispat remains dedicated to supporting such prestigious sporting events, reinforcing its commitment to social and community initiatives.
