Biman delays Manchester route suspension to March
The national flag carrier also advised passengers to seek support through its sales offices in Dhaka and London
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has shifted the suspension of its Dhaka/Sylhet–Manchester flight, dates from 1 February to 1 March.
Citing passengers already holding tickets, the airline reviewed its previous decision and agreed to push the suspension back by a month, according to an announcement today (6 January).
Biman also said that it will assist affected travellers under existing policies. Options include rebooking on the Dhaka–London route, changing travel dates, refunds and other services.
The national flag carrier further advised passengers to seek support through its sales offices in Dhaka and London, its call centre (13636/+88096109-13636), or authorised agents.
Expressing regret for the temporary disruption, Biman asked for passengers' cooperation and promised to announce the resumption of Manchester flights once the route reopens.
