Essential food items as gifts were handed out to 60 street children at the event held at Golpahar outlet of 'Shwapno'

Shwapno-CMP organizes ‘Shop with Cop’ for street children

Super shop 'Shwapno' and Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) jointly organized an event titled 'Shop with Cop' for street children in Chattogram am on Wednesday, says a press release.

Food items and gifts were handed out to 60 street children at the event held at Golpahar outlet of 'Shwapno', according to the press release.

Shamsuddoha Shemul, director of retail expansion of Shwapno said, "Shwapno is working for a beautiful childhood and future for the less fortunate children. As part of it, we are happy to stand by the street children in Chattogram."

CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, Deputy Commissioner of police (North) Vijay Basak, Additional Deputy Commissioner (North) Nadira Noor was present amongst others at the event.

On behalf of Shawpno, Shamsuddoha Shemul, Director of Retail Expansion and Sohel Moinuddin Shoibal, Head of corporate affairs and employee welfare, were also present with other CMP officials, the press release said.

To be on par with commitment of Mujibarsho 'Mujib Barsher Ongikar, Police Hobe Janatar' (Commitment of Mujib Year, Police will be people friendly), CMP arranged this event to fulfill the wishes of the underprivileged children of the society with the help of 'Shwapno'.
