Chairman and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited unveiled the brand’s new product “Velvet Glow”

Unilever Bangladesh Ltd (UBL) re-launched Lux in Bangladesh through a star-studded launching program titled "Moonstruck Evening" at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on Thursday evening (4 March).

Kedar Lele, Chairman and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, unveiled the brand's new product "Velvet Glow" to celebrate the eventful journey of the brand's over 50 glorious years of operation in the country, says a press release.

Marking the brand's new era, Kedar Lele said, "I am delighted to welcome this grand union to witness the beginning of a new era for the brand. Since the beginning, Lux has left a lasting mark throughout the eras in the glamour world by creating icons and setting a beauty standard. We believe, through this grand moment, Lux is stepping into a brand-new era and will carry along its journey of glory. "

"Lux is more than just a soap brand; it is a brand that creates experiences and instills non-fleeting beliefs in the minds of its users. On the night of the event, the glorious journey of Lux in different eras were showcased in the grand programme, followed by a special segment titled "Lux-Struck Life":  A stroll down the memory lane with Lux Stars, musical performance by the talented Elita Karim and finally a show-stopping dance performance by Ridy Sheikh, brought the evening to an end.

Distinguished celebrities of the country, both current and past brand ambassadors and stars of Lux gathered on the momentous occasion, reminiscing their glorious journey with Lux and its impact in their lives.

Lux has been contributing to global skin care since 1925.
