Will go to higher court, Salman Shah’s mother says rejecting PBI report

Rejecting the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) report that said Salman Shah committed suicide for family feud over actress Shabnur, mother of the iconic film star said she will go to upper court for justice.

Salman's mother Neela Chowdhury came up with the remark today after PBI chief DIG Banaj Kumar Majumder disclosed the probe report over her son's death.

Salman Shah's maternal uncle Alamgir Kumkum said that Salman's family rejected the report.

He told the reporters, "My question to the PBI is, did they speak to Samira's aunty (maternal uncle's wife) Ruby Sultana? Could the PBI reach Ruby Sultana?"

He said, "Ruby Sultana is the royal witness in the case. She said Salman was killed. Samira removed a pouch through her son. What was in that pouch? Why wasn't she interrogated? Has the PBI tried to reach her? We would apply for a re-investigation."

Alamgir Kumkum also said, "Why did Samira's father go with me to the place of autopsy? Why did he answered the question I was asked there? Why didn't Salman's body bend even a fan blade? Many such questions were not answered."

In a report, PBI said, Salman Shah, the iconic film hero of his time, was not murdered, he committed suicide for family feud over actress Shabnur.

They pointed out five reasons behind Salman Shah's death-

1.    Budding intimacy between Dhallywood Superstar Salman Shah and Shabnur

2.    Conjugal feud between Salman Shah and his wife Samira Haq

3.    Several suicide attempts for possessing overpowering sentiments

4.    Complicated family feud centring Salman's relationship with his mother

5.    Conjugal incompleteness for not having offspring.

The popular silver screen actor in the 90s mysteriously died on September 6, 1996 at the age of 25. His body was found hanging from a ceiling fan.
