Touhid meets Pakistani counterpart in Jeddah, discusses enhancing trade cooperation
They also expressed satisfaction over the upward trajectory of bilateral relations

Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held meeting in Jeddah on Friday (7 March).
During the meeting, both the dignitaries agreed to enhance cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, people to people contacts and cultural exchanges, said a press release of Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka today (9 March).
They also expressed satisfaction over the upward trajectory of bilateral relations and agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
They highlighted the historical, religious and cultural linkages between the two countries.
The two leaders held the meeting on the sideline of the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Oragnization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The meeting took place in a cordial environment, reflecting the fraternal sentiments from both sides, said a press release.
