The Trading Corporation of Bangladsh (TCB) will start selling potatoes at TK25 per kg in the capital city from Wednesday.

The Commerce Ministry made the announcement through a press release today.

"As per directive of Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, the TCB will start selling potatoes through trucks at different spots in Dhaka," read the press release signed by Abdul Latif Bakshi, senior information officer of the ministry.

One can buy 2kg potatoes at a time. Onion, edible oil, sugar, lentils will also be sold at fixed prices on the trucks.
